How can I remove scratch marks from cutlery?
Scratches and punctures of the glaze can be caused by e.g., sharp steak knives. We therefore recommend to use quality cutlery in 18/10 steel to avoid such scratches. After a meal, it is recommended to rinse the porcelain with water. Some types of food contain strong acids that can cause discolouration of the glaze. Lemon and a little water can help to remove such marks.
Can I place the porcelain products in the oven and microwave?
Products produced in feldspar porcelain and bone china are durable and microwave safe. Please note that some products are decorated with gold, metallic or platinum. We do not recommend using products with such decor in the oven or microwave. The collections that should not be used in the oven or microwave are Julemorgen, Fnugg, Lys, Snø, Slåpe Rosa, Alv gold and Alveskog gold.
Can I wash the products in the dishwasher?
All our tableware can be washed in the dishwasher. To keep the porcelain shiny and beautiful for as long as possible, we also recommend gentle washing program and the use of a glossy detergent. A glossy surface makes the porcelain more resistant to scratches and dulling of the glaze.
I have received a product as a gift that I already have, can I return it?
You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days from the date of receipt of the product. You are entitled to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason. Please contact us as soon as possible by using the package’s attached right of withdrawal form, regular letter or email to customerservice@wik-walsoe.com.
Only the credit card used to purchase the product(s) can be credited, therefore there are no cash returns.
What do I do if something is missing from my order?
If the package or contents are damaged or missing on arrival, please report this to Wik & Walsøe within a reasonable time and no later than 14 days from receiving the shipment.
Can I make a purchase in the online store and collect the product from one of your retailers?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. However, we always offer great delivery conditions by sending goods from our warehouse within 1-3 working days. There is a 14-day right of cancellation on all purchases made in the online store.
How long do I have the right to exchange goods I have purchased?
You have 14 days right of exchange from the date you received your item(s). You can exchange the products without giving any reason, and by communicating your decision to us with the package’s attached right of withdrawal form, regular letter, or e-mail to customerservice@wik-walsoe.com
How can I track my order?
Your order can be tracked directly on our website or through your assigned carrier.
What is the shipping price in the online store?
Shipping costs are fixed to 25 EUR for all orders outside Norway.
I have received an item that is broken/damaged, what should I do?
If you experience receiving faulty, missing, or damaged products, we ask you to contact us by using the package’s attached right of withdrawal form, regular letter, or email to customerservice@wik-walsoe.com. The packages are insured during transport, and we kindly ask you to check the contents upon receipt. If the package or contents are damaged on arrival, please report this to Wik & Walsøe within a reasonable time and no later than 14 days from receiving the shipment. Wik & Walsøe will cover the most reasonable shipping cost if we are notified of errors and omissions, unless such notification of errors turns out to be unfounded.
What is the expected delivery time?
Wik & Walsøe wants to offer the best delivery conditions, and consequently the item(s) must be sent within 1-3 working days, unless otherwise stated and provided that the product is in stock. In connection with sales and holidays, the delivery time must be expected to be longer.
